Day 12: The Power of Gratitude
December 22, 2024
“At times, our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.”
– Albert Schweitzer
The Power of Gratitude
Happy Easter to all!
What if we all shifted our lens of uncertainty, shame, fear and looked through the lens of gratitude? During these current times, it’s important for us to shift perspective and focus on what is good in your life. You’ll be surprised at how many things you can list if you really sit with that question! Today on #ML30 we go into the research, the what, how and why of gratitude. We hope you will walk away from our practice with a deepened appreciation of and a plan for a daily gratitude practice.
Today’s Exercise:
- Review Move Mountains slides on gratitude to get the creative and gratitude juices flowing
- Send a message of gratitude to someone you’ve been meaning to reach out to.
- Today we welcome you to write down in a journal or a piece of paper things, people, places, etc. you are grateful for. Start with, “I am grateful for…” and write a full phrase out. Do this exercise 5 times.
