Nora Behrens

Work History

After college, Nora moved to Chicago and was a programmer for Computer Sciences Corporation during the day and a stage manager for a musical theater company at night. After two years in the city, she and her future husband put their stuff in storage and bought one-way tickets to Georgia to hike the Appalachian Trail. They hiked together for six and a half months and over 2,000 miles from Springer Mtn, GA to Mt. Katahdin, ME.

After that big adventure, Scott and Nora moved to Incline Village, NV, and entered the restaurant business. They operated and owned a top-rated pizza restaurant for 14 years before selling the business in 2016. Nora ran all the back office operations and the front-of-house staff for the restaurant, getting first-hand experience in management, leadership, and innovation. After that time in the restaurant business, she worked in digital marketing, program coordination, and operations for firms in different sectors. Her passion is business systems, both human and technical, and she is always looking for ways businesses and departments can operate more efficiently and effectively while satisfying both employee and customer needs.
